My New Workout Regimen

Alright so, since I have a lot of time on my hands this summer I decided to start exercising again. It's been about 3 years since I had daily cardio. Now that I'm staying at a place that doesn't have much room I am left to running around the block or work out dvds. I know, I know what you're thinking, work out dvds are gimmicks and a waste of money or you're gonna stop doing it within a week. All that is true, haha. I did some research after buying a work out dvd. Yeah, I should've done that before purchasing it but, I did come across some true facts on comment boards. Any cardio workout dvd will work only if you're interested in it. If you find it fun and the sessions seem to fly by then it is working, also, if you feel your body is doing beyond what it can normally take then it is working. Also, if you're eating right.

For the past couple days I have really considered on waking up at 6 every morning to jog for an hour. Today was suppose to be my first day but, I ended up sleeping at 4:30 last night. I know, I'm stupid. Obviously, I couldn't wake up. Instead, while I was out running errands earlier today I came across these work out dvds and I bought it right away. This is my first time buying a work out dvd and also trying it out. I got the Hip Hop Abs set

Okay, I should totally get paid for putting this on here. Not that I'm saying tons of people are reading this, I'm still reviewing it okay!
I went home and tried it right away. I did the first session which was around 24 minutes. Okay, before I exaggerate... I WAS DYING. It was a good workout. I found it really fun. I was always more into hip hop dancing that's why I picked this. The host is fun and always talking. I found it easy to follow and I was definitely tired and took some short second breaks. But, I always went back into it because not only do I know it's working, it's just fun to do it. I found the sets to fly by and I just had fun... I can't emphasize that enough. I didn't know a workout dvd can have this affect on me, haha. This is my first one though. Now, I hope this spirit doesn't go away cause it is my first day trying it. I really hope I don't stop after 2 weeks like my brother guessed, how nice of him. ANYWAYS, I am going to try my hardest to stick with this for as along as I can. It said that it takes 6 months to see a transformation but, on reviews people said they started to see some changes in 6 days. I am going to do this everyday. One session a day, maybe two, depending how I'm feeling after the first session. Each session is around 30 minutes. Also, on top of the work out dvds I will be walking/jogging around my block for mmm... 30 minutes also. I will do this everyday for a week and post an update on here.

It took me a damn while to finally start exercising again. Honestly, not exercising or having any simple cardio like walking everyday really drains my energy. I always feel like I lose energy quick. I usually feel really sleepy around 3 but, I try my hardest not to take a nap because I don't want to get into the habit of doing that every day. Hopefully, after a couple work outs I will regain my energy back and last a day without feeling exhausted at mid afternoon.

Alright, I have about an hour before I go out to walk/jog. I would let to utilize this time to maybe read... or stay and vegg on the computer, haha. Hey, I'm getting my exercise, mmkay?!
