Lipsticks, Ikea and Lotion???

Well, hello there!
I am trying to commit to writing an entry on here more often. The only way to do that is to find something to post about! Since the last couple days I have been out and about getting new random products, I now have something to talk about.

To start off, I'm going to go right into lipsticks for those who just want to know about lipsticks. Then afterwards I'm gonna go on and talk about my other good finds that doesn't relate to make-up.

Lately, I've been obsessed with lipsticks. I always liked lipsticks but, I played it safe and got a bunch of pastel baby pinks. It wasn't until a couple months ago when I got my first dark lip color. It was from the Sephora brand and the name of it is Mr. Lover which is a gorgeous fuchsia.

I was always afraid to wear a dark lip because my lips are already so darn small, if I put a dark color on I really don't want to look like a geisha, youknowhatimean?! A little while ago I watched a youtube video by iwanted2c1video and the video was titled "Top 10 Favorite Drugstore Products". The brand Wet n' Wild was mentioned and she said that they used to suck but, now their lipsticks are pretty damn good. The lipstick pay off is totally worth more than 2 bucks! By the way, these are all Canadian prices and I was rounding up. So, the past 2 weeks I've gotten myself 5 new lipsticks, all dark! I'mma rebel now. OH, before I go to pictures I also saw a lip color online by NYC called Retro Red and I've been wanting that for over 2 weeks now but, I couldn't find it so I thought why not try Wet n' Wild. So, this one is called Cinnamon Silk - 509A. They don't write the names on their lipsticks, only the number. They do show it at the store on the stands and on their websites though. But, the number is the part what you need to jot down.

When I put this on, of course I was like "Whoa, I look like a geisha and my mouth looks super small and it is too much". After having it on for a couple minutes I kind of got used to it and I actually loved it so much that I wore it out the next day. People were looking at me but, I don't know if they're looking at how outrageously my lipstick contrasts with my skin tone or if they think it looks good. Either way, I went out today and got myself something a bit lighter and more everyday wear. NYC in Air Kiss - 404

Okay, I know what you're thinking. This one looks totally darker than the Wet n' Wild one. True, it looks darker online. The images on the internet are sucky so, I can't always find nice ones. Plus I don't want to take pictures of other people and their swatches, so. The Wet n' Wild one is darker than this one. It is much more suited for everyday wear. One odd thing though. When I tried swatching these colors on my hand at home, this one came up to be much lighter and more pink than it looks in the tube. But, when I put it on my lips with the Annabelle lip liner in Cherry - 205 it looks perfectly fine.

Okay, now for my favorite purchase out of all the lipsticks I've bought lately is..........
Wet n' Wild in Nouveau Pink - 511b!!!

I have been searching for the perfect fuchsia color and I finally found it for 2 bucks! iwanted2c1video was right about their products. The color pay off for all the Wet n' Wild lipsticks I've purchased are amazing. This is in silk finish and it is very conditioning and gives off such a rich color. For a little oomph and neatness I paired it with the Annabelle Fucshia -140 lip liner.

I did say I bought 5 and only talked about 3. I find the other 2 to be not that good. One of the two I left out was the Wet n' Wild Mega Last - 910d. It's a deep rich red which is beautiful but, I find that all of their "Mega Last" lipsticks to be drying and the shape of it makes applying kind of messy. They took out most of the oils in that line of lipsticks to make the staying power "mega lasting". For me, my preference is to have a lipstick that gives moisture too. The other lipstick I left out is by Wet n' Wild in Light Berry Frost - 505a. This is pretty much the same color as the Nouveau Pink one but this one has a pearl shine to it, which I am not a fan of because I prefer matte lipsticks.

Alright, now onto other goodies that aren't related to make-up but, still amazing ;)

I think I found my weakness in life. If you read my last post about the facts about me it said "cats and food are my weaknesses" well, I have another thing to add to that and that would be IKEA. I am a Wal-Mart lover, I can go to Wal-mart everyday, several times a day and I would not get sick of it. The fact that all Ikea's are much further than a Wal-Mart wherever I live makes me long for it even more, which in turn makes me love Ikea more than Wal-mart =O. Each time I visit Ikea I would get so damn excited. I just love seeing the new innovative designs. When I get my own place I swear it's gonna be IKEAD UP! I think I spent about 2 hours or so walking around and looking at stuff there. I ended up getting this neat desk lamp called JANSJĂ–

I needed something that saved space and on the plus side you can bend this which ever way you want, which is pretty awesome. This is perfect because I do read at night. This is retailed for $14.99

I don't know about you but, whenever I pick out candles I always choose the colors that I like first. When I was at Ikea looking at their candles I immediately chose the most appealing color in my eyes - pink and it smelled so potent and too flowery. Then, I just went and smelled everything. Who knew... my least favorite color - orange, was the color of the candle that had the best smell out of all of them. So there you go people. I proved myself wrong that day and the candle is burning on my night stand as I am typing this. This one is called Tindra and got it for $1.99.

I've been using the Jergens Natural Glow daily moisturizer in Firming

My skin color is so fair and I don't want to go tanning. I heard some good things about this and ended up trying it. It says that it's "clinically proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite in as little as 7 days" and "gradually creates natural looking color" also in 7 days. It has a little gradation chart at the back of the tube showing you the results after 7 days. I am currently on my 4th day and honestly, I do see myself getting darker but not dramatically. It's gradual like it says and it does not look orange. The cellulite part, mmm, not too sure about that. I don't see much change but, I am on the 4th day and it said as little as 7 days, so I'm gonna be patient. This was 7.99 at Wal-Mart and the shade I got was Fair to Medium.
